Verdict

QURI easily won a mares’ handicap on her first try over this trip at Uttoxeter 10 days ago. She has a penalty to carry here but today’s opposition looks decidedly modest. Just Bobby didn’t show much on his reappearance at Ayr and tries a new trip but stamina won’t be an issue for Mike Sowerby’s pair Turtle Cask and Agent Louise, with further rain likely to help the former. Emerald Chieftan has been lightly raced but a fall over fences last time may have affected confidence.
