    Verdict

BLYTON went ahead at the furlong pole over this trip at Leicester last week but was caught on the line by Secret Venture. Today's faster ground may enable him to hang on though Soldier's Call will also make a bold bid to go one better. Archie Watson's colt couldn't quite get to Glory Fighter on good ground at Lingfield but will give the selection a run for his money. Pacino ran well for a long way over 6f at York so this should be ideal while Princess Power looked a certain future winner when staying on nicely at Redcar and won't be long losing her maiden tag.
