Verdict

Shane Gray again takes 7lb off Michael Browne's Musselburgh winner Queen Grace and the Irish mare has to go on the short-list in this. Courageous is undoubtedly well treated nowadays but continues to flatter to deceive while Jinker Noble dropped away tamely when favourite at Bath last time and this looks more competitive. WHOZTHECAT beat the useful Haajes when dropped back to 5f at Thirsk and followed that up with another good run behind Last Sovereign at Newmarket. He's in good heart and could be the one to beat today. Bottom weight Diman Waters may be the pick of the remainder.
