Verdict

It's been a few years since a three-year-old last won this but INTILAAQ looks to have leading claims in today's renewal. Roger Varian's charge won a Listed event at Newbury in good style last time with Fire Fighting well beaten and looks ready for this further step up in class. Master Carpenter arrives flush with success after landing the John Smith's Cup at York and should go well again. He is preferred to Fattsota, who finished ahead of Collaboration when a close-up sixth in the Listed Wolferton Handicap at Ascot in June.
