In depth

Verdict

The first of several compacted handicaps on today’s card. Many are having a first run on Turf, including Eevilynn Drew, Mountain Brave and Glen Force. October’s Brighton winner More Than A Prince is potentially well treated while Tom Dascombe’s pair Brookside Banner, a winner of soft going here on debut, and Sermon are interesting but we’ll take a chance on DICK DATCHERY, who looked useful when scoring at Ayr last season and should do well in handicaps this term.
