Curlew River stays further than this and has made the running when successful in the past. She’ll want to make this a good gallop but may find one or two have more pace in the closing stages. Appointed is still 3lb higher than when successful at York in July but wasn’t beaten far last time at Beverley and should be in the firing-line.
