    Verdict

Accompanist is following a tried and trusted path in steady progression followed by trainer John Gosden and the son of Pivotal is fancied to get off the mark at the third time of asking; Mulaazem is an obvious danger, while Falpiase is an interesting newcomer that has an interesting pedigree for a race like this. However, he also has a lot of weight to concede all around and, with the fitting of blinkers straight away for his debut, there has to be the suspicion that he is not all together straightforward. Mulaazem was below expectations on his solitary start as a juvenile. However, he did show promise on his reappearance and, as he is likely to be suited by this sort of trip, he has to be respected. Nevertheless, Accompanist has plenty of stamina on his dam's side and, having posted an improved effort when second over ten furlongs at Sandown in May, there are plenty of reasons to expect him to come out on top of this lightly raced, yet modest looking, bunch of three-year-olds
