In depth

Verdict

A competitive finale with Superior Star, Joshua's Gold and Chicken Soup all live contenders with the vote going to the last named. The selection comes form a yard doing really well at present and the horse himself has been in blinding form of late also having finished second twice before winning at Chester last time out. Connections are running with a six pound penalty so therefore must be confident of a bold show so he is one to keep on the right side of for now. Superior Star does the same buy carrying a penalty after his win at Musselburgh. He seems a horse that is at the top of his game at present so is another to note in the market. As is Joshua's Gold who won on the all weather at Wolverhampton in June but has had to settle for second best since then at Haydock and Thirsk most recently and may find one too good once more this time around. So for the winner we return to Chicken Soup.
