Verdict

A modest claimer gets proceedings underway and from a shortlist of Faraway Sound, Lady Fantasie and Kings House we will side with Faraway Sound. The selection has had a few chances but he looks to have been found a good opportunity here to get his head in front. He disappointed last time but the race may have come a little too quickly for him and at this lowly level he is worth another chance. Lady Fantasie raced a little too freely last time at Musselburgh but she has shaped with some promise and she can't be discounted lightly. Kings House shaped with some promise in a decent maiden at York last time and this colt is of interest, but the yard are hardly firing on all cylinders at present. Missus Christie hails from the yard that won this race two years ago so this newcomer is worth a check in the market, but for the winner we will side with Faraway Sound.
