In depth

Verdict

Red Runaway has a shout back over 1m2f if handling the ground and the latter comment also applies to Hydrant, a runner-up at Chester last time. But Patrona Ciana has been well beaten since winning over 7f at Ayr while Nubar Boy has never won over further than a mile. Kudu Country won over hurdles here in March but hasn't raced on the Flat since 2009 so it could pay to stick with MARTINAS DELIGHT, a cosy winner in soft going over today's trip at Doncaster last month and expected to make another bold bid here.
