Verdict

Runswick Royal got going too late at Doncaster three weeks ago but has another 4lb to carry here. Algernon Pazham is interesting as he made a winning start over fences at Leicester and is lightly-raced. However, he might react unfavourably to a drop in distance. Oscar Fortune needs more while Wuff lacks a recent run but Final Assault continues to run well and Clondaw Draft should know more after last month's fourth at Ascot. FIVE IN A ROW makes his fencing debut but has won between the flags and easily beat a decent sort over hurdles at Sedgefield on Boxing Day. If his jumping holds up, he looks well treated.
