        Verdict

Rely On Me was just denied at Leicester last month but Merlin made all to get off the mark at Nottingham, though that was over a shorter trip. Falbon and Vaulted have both been knocking on the door but neither Used To Be nor Captain Hawk have shown enough to suggest they can open their accounts at this level. It was soft going when STORM CRY was only beaten a neck off this mark at Carlisle last week. Even though she’s fully exposed and has done best over 6f so far, that ability to handle the surface could be the key factor.
