Time is running out to get qualified for next month’s big-money final and it remains to be seen how many of these make it to The Festival. Lamanver Odyssey should be noted for any market support as she’s always looked like to stay 3m and was twice second off this mark around this time last year, including once here. Champers On Ice returns from an absence but could have been let in lightly and Blaklion is well treated on his chase form. Second twice here recently, Silva Eclipse deserves a change of luck but is creeping up the weights again. BURROWS PARK came up against an on-song Ballyandy on his hat-trick bid at Uttoxeter but kept battling. The extra half-mile is a worry but he won’t be far away again if he lasts home. Sykes was just beaten at Cheltenham in October but hasn’t raced since.
