Verdict

SEPARATE SHADOWS couldn't handle a much stiffer test on his reappearance at Cheltenham in October but had shown enough promise last spring to be handed the vote. Goohar looked in need of the experience on his debut here in November but showed promise and will have come on enough to make his presence felt. Operatic Heights is a newcomer to watch as he's a half-brother to a couple of winners but it's difficult to know what to make of Royal Regatta, who has joined Philip Hobbs after pulling up on his only start in an Irish point-to-point.
