Verdict

SOUTHWOLD is the most interesting of the sextet as he's only had four runs in three seasons and enjoys a 2-4 strike rate. He now has a first start since early March and, more importantly, a first run on Turf. He'll hopefully prove too good but does have those question marks against him. In contrast, Tele Red is fully exposed and has seemingly become more inconsistent on recent starts with three solid efforts in his last six whilst finishing close to last on the other three. He's a leading contender if in the mood. Balqaa ran better last time but that was in February on the all-weather and Extinction makes a belated handicap bow upped in trip at the age of six. He's A Gentleman looked more like it last time and a repeat of that better effort would bring him right into contention.
