The Oil Magnate, Fervent Prince and Nezami are the three to look at here, with The Oil Magnate set to confirm a big impression he made when scoring on his re-appearance. Nezami rarely runs a bad race and seems progressive. He finished off a good juvenile campaign with a win at Hamilton over six furlongs. He makes his re-appearance here and can be expected to come on for the run, especially as he is conceding weight to most of his rivals, but the booking of Frankie Dettori looks interesting. A winner at Kempton on his seasonal debut, Fervent Prince stepped up on that form in a valuable Chester handicap last time. Raised five pounds for that excellent effort, this seven furlong trip, a furlong shorter than the Chester race, may not quite be far enough and he is opposed. The Oil Magnate is well thought of by his trainer Michael Dods, and he confirmed those expectations as he readily disposed of his field at Doncaster on his re-appearance. Off the track since, he encounters distinctly faster ground here, but a chance is taken that he can handle it-his sire Fantastic Light preferred it. The Oil Magnate can take this en route to better things.
