Verdict

Archipeligo showed signs of a return to form at Hamilton a week ago but is a rare winner on Turf and Abel Tasman is also proving better on the all-weather surfaces. But MAC O’POLO was placed over a mile here last summer and has gone close over a longer trip subsequently. He has more scope than most of these and should be sharper for a recent comeback. The latter comment also applies to Quoteline Direct and he can figure but Onda District hasn’t raced since 2016 and has switched yards since. Sharp Reply makes most appeal of the rest handicapping for the first time today.
