Verdict

Eyre Square, successful on his reappearance over hurdles at Hexham, is capable of winning a decent prize over fences this winter but may be best receiving weight in better company over a longer trip. Jonjo O'Neill saddles both CALYPSO BAY and Foxesbow with the former getting the vote as he appeared reluctant to let himself down on the very fast ground at Ludlow three weeks ago having responded well to A P McCoy's urgings to get up at Market Rasen previously. Badger Foot and Dammam both have scope but return from a break, as does Backfromthecongo, while Shake The Barley may be a shade high in the weights at present.
