Verdict

Newcomer TAKE TEN is taken to break his maiden tag first time of asking, while both Senate Majority and Strike Shot will improve for their recent race experience and should be noted in the market. The selection is stoutly bred being by Bahamian Bounty and should be well prepared by trainer Mark Johnston. Ryan Moore is a positive jockey booking and it would be no surprise to see him in the winners enclosure on his debut outing. Senate Majority ran well enough to finish six of ten on his debut at Ripon and if improving he has a chance of being in the shake up, and the same can be said about Strike Shot who finished last of six at Lingfield on his debut. This does not look like the best of maidens and Take Ten will not have to be a world beater to win it.
