    Verdict

Morzine, Hazelhurst and Countrywide Belle are all worthy of consideration here and the vote is given to Morzine. The selection is a half-sister to the high-class 6f 2yo winner Three Valleys and she will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut here. Her stable have to be respected in these type of events and she looks the one to be with. Hazelhurst is another well-bred filly and it would be no surprise to see her go well on her racecourse debut. The market should be noted for clues but if there is strong support for her in the ring then it could pay to take the hint. River Crossing looks the best of those with racecourse experience and she made a really pleasing debut at Redcar when beating Stratham. She ran a bit green that day so with more still to come this daughter of Zafonic is entitled to go close. Countrywide Belle ran well behind Crocodile Bay at Doncaster two runs ago, but she has failed to build on that and she does not seem to be progressing. Sweet Boulangere is from a top yard but she has plenty to prove after a couple of disappointing efforts and for the winner we will stick with Morzine.
