In depth

Verdict

Paul Nicholls and AP McCoy make a formidable team and dual bumper winner Sin Bin will be fancied to make a winning handicap debut though he's looked as though quicker ground would suit on his two runs over timber. Father Shine easily landed a chase at Musselburgh and can race from a 5lb lower mark over hurdles though he doesn't win very often and PARC DES PRINCES looks a better option. Nicky Richards' charge rarely runs on ground this testing but there was plenty of give when he scored at Musselburgh and is only 3lb higher. Benmadigan also represents the yard but is 5lb higher than when successful last month so a bigger threat could be Royal Riviera, who was in excellent form during the summer.
