In depth

Verdict

Slanelough has shown promise in both starts to date over fences. Mr Mcgo could be interesting if a Bangor run has blown away a few cobwebs and Diablo De Rouhet won over hurdles last season, though didn’t show much in a couple of point-to-points runs at the start of his career. SCORPION SID looks the safest option as he probably ran better than the final result suggested when third behind Kalashnikov at Warwick and will know more today.
