      Verdict

The three that look to have the best chance of success are Beehawk, Maximise and Tirikumba with the vote going to the last named. Trained in Camarthern by Sirrell Griffiths who is most famous for his training success of Nortons Coin in the Gold Cup in the earl nineties and who always does well with his small team. Tirikumba has been stepped up in trip in recent races and after his decent second at Stratford last time out, he looks a sure bet to win soon and maybe worth siding with here. Of his rivals the likely favourite Beehawk will be thereabouts again after his fine win at Worcester last time out. The only concern is that he has been very much inconsistent in the past and is no certainty to reproduce the same level of form this time around. Maximise is the other to consider but is slow and will be producing his best late. But for the winner we return to Tirikumba.
