Verdict

SEARCHING hosed up in a higher grade at Exeter last week, beating Dan Gun 10 lengths. Though Grace Harris’ charge is penalised it’s difficult to see the runner-up reversing that form today. Eric The Third is still 12lb higher than when winning at Uttoxeter last year and he’s been disappointing recently but Bentons Lad won at Huntingdon at the start of the month while Cotton Club is fit from the Flat. Cougar Kid looks the pick of the remainder with Hahadi returning from a break and Raise Your Shades reverting to type at Worcester after winning at Southwell.
