Verdict

Five of these are looking for back to back wins, including the selection EDGEFOUR, who we prefer to Cove Mountain and Pure Genius. Ben Case's mare has two wins and a runners up spot to her name from her last three races, albeit at a lower grade. She's versatile in different conditions, jumps nicely and sets a moderate standard here. Cove Mountain has more than a stone in hand at the weights, and goes well at right-handed circuits. Her record of three wins from 37 runs isn't impressive though, and the trio have all come in May, but Tony McCoy's an eye-catching jockey booking. Pure Genius is lightly raced, and did well to get within a couple of lengths of the winner of her last outing given that she was giving away 33 pounds. Sweet Seville, Dee Cee Elle, Runaround Sue and Pip's Assertive Way all come in to the contest in good form, but they lack consistency, so we'll side with Edgefour.
