Verdict

The market can always guide us in bumpers, but QUEDDILLAC catches our eye, in preference to M'lady Eliza and Call Me Mulligan. Tim Vaughan's gelding is making his debut under rules, having previously won an Irish point in good style. His reputation for taking horses from elsewhere and improving them is well known, and it'll be interesting to see if there's any market support. If there is, we'd be further encouraged that he can continue his decent form in bumpers. M'lady Eliza finished well in a similar contest on debut to grab a place, and further improvement could be enough to land this. Call Me Mulligan is an interesting looking debutant, with Tony McCoy on board, and support would be significant. With so many newcomers the market must be watched, but we'll side with Queddillac.
