In depth

Verdict

Seven of the nine runners in this failed to complete last time so this probably won't take much winning. Kilcommon Pride looks to have the best recent form having finished first and third over 2m4f at Ffos Las last month. His stamina has to be taken on trust over this trip, however, whereas The Hudnalls has already won over 3m2f over hurdles here on soft ground. HOBB'S DREAM also has plenty of stamina and is a previous C&D winner. Neil Mulholland's mare was pulled up at Fontwell earlier this month but is tried in blinkers today and could go close if the headgear has the desired effect. Amazing Valour would every chance off this mark if returning to his best but now seems a light of former days.
