In depth

Verdict

Bollin Ace has been hard to place and is having a first try over this trip against some sound stayers. Polydora was always travelling best at Chepstow three weeks ago but has his quirks and may not be the ideal ride for an inexperienced pilot. It’s a while since Lough Derg Farmer showed any worthwhile form but Grange Ranger followed up a Wetherby win in February with a second at Carlisle and Glittering Love is due a change of luck. ELAN DE BALME looked much improved after wind surgery in the autumn and the French import can record a first UK victory this evening having been left on a fair mark. Speak Of The Devil, a winner here back in October, looks the pick of the remainder.
