Verdict

SHERIFF HALL was well beaten when favourite over fences at Cartmel in June but George Charlton's gelding is better handicapped over hurdles and could easily recapture the winning thread against very modest opposition. King's Chorister disappointed at Uttoxeter last time after a fair third at Kelso, while The Dunion and Dramatic Jewel look closely matched on their run together in a novices' handicap the same track last month. Lisdonagh House won at Newcastle in April but is 8lb higher on his reappearance and finished tailed off in this race 12 months ago.
