In depth

Verdict

Hats Off To Larry couldn’t follow up a first success at Market Rasen when favourite at Sedgefield and is 4lb higher now. SPUTNIK and Poucor finished 1-2 on soft going here last month. The runner-up is 2lb better off for less than a length but the winner has more scope and can confirm running. The booking of Brian Hughes for Legal Beagle could be significant but it’s a long time since Strong Team showed any worthwhile form.
