Verdict

CUDGEL has hit form with a vengeance and can complete the hat-trick and record a seventh course victory despite a further 6lb rise. Raecius Felix is probably having a pipe-opener prior to a summer campaign. Fever Roque has been knocking on the door, however, and Ribeye has placed twice over hurdles since getting off the mark over fences at the second time of asking at Market Rasen. Carlisle winner The Electrician and fellow course and distance winner Follow Your Arrow can also go well with chasing newcomer Shantou Moon possibly best of the rest.
