In depth

Verdict

Viognier was second to Heart Of Kernow, who runs in the opener, in a maiden here last month but needs to settle better. Soiesauvage won over 2m at Uttoxeter but he ability to stay this far has to be taken on trust. ECHO LADY is 0-12 over hurdles in Ireland but she showed some improvement at Sligo last time and has probably dropped to a fair mark. She looks the pick of her stable’s three runners here today. Lavella Wells has hinted at ability but doesn’t look to be progressing.
