Verdict

Pamak D'airy has a shout on his third in a blanket finish at Sedgefield early in the year. Crackerjack Lad is another to consider on his return to action but LOCAL PRESENT looks the safest bet. He scored over track and trip on his first start since April, so it's reasonable to expect further progress and James Turner's charge gets the vote to defy a 5lb rise. It's hard to make a case for any of the remainder though Vardas Supreme did win at Newcastle in February and a change of headgear may bring some improvement.
