In depth

Verdict

Ardnaclancy's placed efforts behind the well-regarded Quotica De Poyans at Kelso is decent form and Andrew Richardson's gelding won over a shorter trip here last June. But OPTIMISTIC HARRY ran the same horse close on his latest start under Rules and has been in great form between the flags lately - the12-year-old can score again here. Abragante doesn't appear the force of old and both Canada Street and Stagecoach Diamond need to step up on what they've achieved in point-to-points to get competitive here. Simply Smashing is a proven performer, however, though will probably need this.
