In depth

Verdict

Lahib The Fifth, South Shore One and Oscar's Lady look the three to concentrate on in division 2 of this bumper and the vote is given to Lahib The Fifth. The selection hails from a yard that does well in this sphere and this half brother to bumper winner Jumbo Gunner will not need to be anything special to win on his debut. South Shore rates the main danger as he was sent off favourite on his debut but could manage only fifth behind None So Pretty. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and should be monitored in the market. Oscar¿s Lady is another worthy of respect as she is another from a yard that does well in this sphere. However she slipped up on her debut and it is hard to know if her confidence has been effected so she can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Hard N Sharp is another well-bred type that catches the eye on breeding but in a race where the market could be very informative for the winner we return to Lahib The Fifth.
