In depth

Verdict

Barseventytwo should improve on his debut fourth at Sedgefield while Charlie Bucket's run behind Brindisi Breeze at Newcastle received a boost when the winner went on to land a Grade 2 at Haydock. NODFORM RICHARD was half-a-length back in third that day but paid the price for trying to match strides with the smart winner. He can take his revenge over this shorter trip and land this for Donald McCain. Doncaster fourth Optimist appears to be improving with experience and can also figure with his weight-for-age allowance but Master Murphy has his stamina to prove around here.
