    Verdict

Ifandbutwhy had some decent form over hurdles a couple of years ago but returns following a lengthy absence. Well Green was confidently ridden to land an amateurs' race at Towcester last month, but HOMER RUN's defeat of Marju King at the same track 12 days ago was franked by the runner-up at Uttoxeter on Thursday and he gets the nod as Almutaham had the run of the race here last time. Wheyaye is lightly-raced for her age but has ability and she could also play a part if her recent C&D second has blown away a few cobwebs.
