In depth

Verdict

There's no doubt that Agentleman in a new headgear combination and with a very promising conditional taking the ride has the ability to win a low-grade contest like this but his response to pressure the last twice has been very disappointing. Miss Mackie managed to defeat a couple of these last time out at Cartmel with Dica the principal victim but that one may be able to turn around that form over shorter. In a race full of questionable types it may be best to rely on the consistency of course specialist MISS CONWAY who should be able to cope with a 7lb rise in the weights having fewer doubts about her than most.
