Verdict

SHOAL BAY DREAMER was gaining her first victory when scoring over the C&D a couple of weeks ago and a 5lb rise in the weights is wiped out by her rider's claim so a follow-up looks on the cards. Samson Collonges was also winning for the first time when successful on that same card but that was over 3m1f and he may need that trip to show his best. Vardas Supreme has run two reasonable races since arriving from Ireland but is still a maiden after 14 starts over fences and Sam Patch probably needs further than this. Ravensbill has shown very little and hasn't been seen since March.
