In depth

Verdict

Course specialist HATTONS HILL recorded a five-timer over 3m here with his latest win in June. Only 2lb higher on his return, he’s taken to stay this longer trip and will handle the testing going. Shake It Up won at Carlisle in August but heavy ground is a worry for him and Lowanbehold may prove a bigger danger having tumbled down the weights since last year’s double at Kelso. Hurdles winner Moorlands Mist can race off a lower mark back over fences but Onderun has struggled since winning at Lingfield at the end of last year.
