A dire affair in which Mister Magnum rates the token selection ahead of Baligrundle and Lethem Present. Mister Magnum is a completely exposed maiden so we shouldn't anticipate too much improvement but he ran a fair enough race here last time out and off a basement BHB figure, he has to rate the percentage call in a race full of very modest performers. Baligrundle does at least know how to win and can be forgiven a below par run last time out as the trip would have been much too short. The ground looks the major imponderable in his case. Lethem Present should have few concerns in that regard but backers have to take her on trust as her recent form has been lamentable. Former pointer, Star Of Raven is watched in the market for any signs of confidence. Goodbadindiferent is much better than his recent form suggests and the veteran should find life significantly easier in this lesser grade. Hollows Mist was a progressive novice over hurdles a couple of seasons ago but his form since returning from absence has been disappointing to say the least. Not a race to be getting too heavily involved in and Mister Magnum is recommended to minimum stakes.
