    Verdict

Irish raider LUCKY WISH is eased significantly in grade and is fancied to readily hold the likes of Don't Tell The Wife and Lake Legend. The progressive Adroit Approach also merits consideration and should not be underestimated. The handicapper has allotted the five-year-old a mark of 127 and he will need to step things up a few notches from now on. This will be a good test for the gelding and he is an interesting contender for the Andrew Hales yard. Lake Legend romped home in a Kempton bumper when he was last seen out and created a favourable impression. The son of Midnight Legend has a large frame to fill, so it may be best to gauge the interest if the betting ring before wading in with this hurdles debutant. Don't Tell The Wife was also an eye-catcher when he won at Towcester back in March and, as he represents a top yard in great from, he has to be respected. However, experience counts for plenty at this stage of the campaign and, with his race fitness proven, the profile of Lucky Wish displays all the correct attributes to play with a small investment. A proven ability to handle a variety of ground conditions is a big plus and, as he won¿t mind any deterioration in the state of the surface, the forecast rain ought not to be a problem for Lucky Wish should it materialise.
