Parish Oak, Lubinas, Kimono Royal and Fieldsofclover make it onto the shortlist, with the vote going to Lubinas. Rated 101 today, Lubinas won off that mark back in May 2004. He emphatically got back to winning ways last time over course and distance off a mark of 94 and we think he can still go well from his revised rating. Parish Oak has solid claims as he is due to go up five pounds in the future as a consequence of his narrow defeat by Caribbean Cove at Leicester last time. Kimono Royal looks reasonably rated based on his best hurdling form and a drop in trip from his last two runs could prove beneficial today, while Fieldsofclover, who has been raised three pounds for a solid British debut effort last time, still looks reasonably handicapped on the pick of his Irish form as he drops back in trip today. Of the others, Runner Bean is on a winning mark and is entitled to some consideration, even though his last two runs have been modest, Once again, though, we nominate Lubinas as the selection.
