Verdict

After hitting the crossbar three times at the end of last year, BRENTFORD HOPE easily landed the odds at Wincanton last month. He can progress again and see off the challenge of Exeter maiden winner Impose Toi even though the Henderson runner is rated 4lb higher. John The Baptist may be improving while VE Day made a winning start over timber at Musselburgh but Newbury third Angel's Dream will need to brush up his jumping.
