BREAKING SILENCE and Ungaro should dominate proceedings here, with ready preference for the former. Our selection hasn't had much racing for one of his age and a race like this should be well within his compass. The trip is as far as he's gone but it shouldn't pose a problem and he has won of soft ground, so with Alan Berry taking the ride he looks the one to beat. Ungaro hasn't won since landing Feltham in 2006, at which point he looked like a potential star and whilst it'd be unfair to call him disappointing he certainly hasn't fulfilled that potential. That said, it was only last season when he took second in a very strong handicap chase and his best form has come on flat tracks like this one, so this could prove an astute bit of placing. Coat Of Honour has won on soft ground but over this trip he might want it a bit quicker, so despite the fact he's won a similar contest to this he might be opposable. Likewise Henry's Pride has won a contest of similar nature but may need the ground a bit quicker, although both have claims if our preferred pair fail to run up to their abilities. Whistling Straits has a bit to find on what we've seen but remains capable of progress, whilst the market may help separate the rest. If they're anywhere near their best, this should be a match with Breaking Silence preferred to Ungaro.
