MASTERFUL ACT (NAP) thrives at Southwell where he's won six times. He went up 5lb for finishing runner-up at Market Rasen on Boxing Day a couldn't cope in a much better race at Ludlow a couple of weeks later. This is a drop in class and he should be good enough. Borguy stepped up to this trip on this track on Boxing Day and produced his best run to date behind Cyclop. He's been left on the same mark but the form hasn't worked out. Superior Fire has been dropped 4lb from his last run but still looks high enough on what he's achieved and Vinegar Hill has been disappointing despite attracting some support. Bouggietopieces made a successful handicap debut at Towcester in December but has been unable to cope with the subsequent weight rise.
