In depth

Verdict

High Office has won four times on the Flat but not since 2011 and showed little in three starts over hurdles. Miss Lucky Penny has looked quite moderate and may be a few pounds high on what she's achieved so far. Boomtown began the year with victories here and at Wetherby before pulling up at Wincanton in March, which was nowhere near his best form. Second Brook hasn't been seen since scoring at Bangor three years ago, his first victory on his 24th start, while the four-year-old Helamis has been beaten regulary in sellers. CAMPTOWN LADY was narrowly beaten when receiving 18lb from Cusheen Bridge at Southwell in May and the winner is now rated 115 so Laura Young's mare looks well enough handicapped to take this and hopefully will be fit enough to do herself justice.
