Verdict

Forcing tactics paid dividends for FLOATING ROCK when he was dropped in trip at Fontwell. He finished third off a higher mark at Doncaster when last seen in a handicap and could take some pegging back if allowed to dominate on this sharp track having recently undergone wind surgery. First Quest runs well fresh and is a danger and Out On The Tear won twice last season. Dream Machine gets cheekpieces having shaped as though coming to hand at Southwell in August with the in-form Glimpse Of Gold another for the shortlist. Eye Of An Eagle makes his handicap debut and has been very lightly raced so is also worth a market check.
