In depth

Verdict

Countess Comet had no chance in a Listed hurdle at Wetherby on her reappearance but should feel more at home in this grade and is one of the more likely winners. Belle De Fontenay needs to bounce back from a poor run at Ludlow, however, while Synthe Davis never quite recaptured her novice form last season and is probably best watched returning from a break. DANCE FOR LIVVY is high enough in the weights and may prefer faster ground but she's had a couple of runs on the Flat recently so won't fail through lack of fitness and gets a tentative vote in a race that won't take much winning with Ruby Crown looking on the downgrade nowadays.
