In depth

Verdict

Be Fair, Tallow Bridge and Vic's Last Chance look the three to concentrate on in this Hunter Chase and the narrow vote is given to Be Fair. The selection won well at Fakenham a couple of runs ago and was still travelling well when falling last time out, he again has conditions to suit, and in the hope that he puts in a fluent round of fencing he is taken to score. Tallow Bridge has looked progressive in points of late and with the excellent Stuart Morris in the plate he should be watched in the market but he would not want too much rain.Vic's Last Chance was a fair third in a better race last time out but the drop in trip has to be of concern. Of the remainder Whistling Straits has plenty of scope for improvement and could go well at a price but for the winner we are happy to return to Be Fair.
